You just have to continue being clear on your position until the other person gets the message.
Think back to a time when you or a friend used a behavioural response that was not assertive. What type was it? What did you say? What happened as a result? What could you have done differently?
My Friend keeped hitting me in the head and I was telling him to stop but he wasnt listening to me, so I fought fire with fire. This was aggressive of me
